Vintage. Sold with a Rolex box but no papers. 

A single owner's watch from new. Jim received this Rolex from his wife as a Christmas gift in 1971 and it was engraved on the back cover hence we left it untouched. The watch was sold to us in generally good condition but with the bracelet missing and all we had to do was to overhaul the movement, replaced the gaskets and a new crystal plus strap fitted.

We decided to leave the case unpolished as it is in very good condition and may have been polished just once in it's life so the lugs are thick which is essential.

The dial & hands have matching colour-aged tritium which makes this watch very attractive while the external gold and brown coloured bezel insert has a slight patina which is very charming. Please click here for more images on our Facebook page.

The Ref.1675 is the 2nd generation GMT Master & does not have a quick-set date function while the GMT arrow hand simply acts as a 24hr indicator. To view the 2nd time zone, you simply depress the bezel with both of your thumbs then rotate the bezel to your desired time zone and the arrow will indicate the 2nd or home time if desired.

We are now in the 7th generation GMT Master with the Ref.116710LN.
