This classic Rolex Oysterdate Precision was acquired from an elder gentleman who owned this for several decades. The watch was taken apart, stripped down and underwent a complete works where the movement was overhauled, seals & crystal replaced. The case and bracelet were polished. Movement shines and case shows little wear while this bracelet is NOT an original Rolex but has been made to fit this model. It has been well used for decades resulting in usual wear marks and we fitted it back on but you can always remove it in favour of a leather strap which will look great.

The particular specimen is a rare unit as black dial with silver accents that matches the steel case is very rare and you would often only find black dial with gold markers plus our watch here has been completely done up and ready to wear.

The back cover is stamped with III 72 on the inside which meant that this watch was assembled in the 3rd quarter of 1972 which coincides with the serial numbers and dating this watch to 1972-73.

The 6694 is one of the most affordable vintage Rolex that money can buy today, it offers a date function with low maintenance and high reliability to match. Watch is sold as the head only and the given bracelet has no value whatsoever.
