A very attractive vintage Rolex Oyster dating to the year 1950. This particular example has a very desirable engine-turned bezel in gold with fine fluted lines and hour batons across. It uses the Super-Oyster crown that was only made between 1950 to 1953 when Rolex was experimenting with crowns that doesn't require the locking feature and uses a host of water resistant materials. It was not a success but it gave us one of the most decorated crown and these are collector's items now.

A simple Rolex that'll last a lifetime with proper care. This 32mm model is 2mm larger than the usual 10½ boy size. 

Case has not been polished much and has some wear as can be seen while the movement is in excellent condition. The original dial has aged beautifully with a charming patina and Explorer style nos in appliqué gold while a blued steel sweep centre seconds sweeps across the dial. The watch has an after-market strap that can be replaced easily with 17mm lug size and has an original gold plated Rolex buckle.
