About This Watch

Pre-owned. No boxes or papers. This is a rather rare Longines Weems limited edition made in 1997 to celebrate their anniversary & only 1000pcs of three watch set are made. This is set no.578, hence all three watches share the same serial number & no we won't be selling individually, it has to go as a set. The boxes+papers were unfortunately lost over transit when the owner purchased it many years ago from the Taiwan retailer.

All three watches were used with general light surface scratches but nothing major & free from any dents. The glasses are perfect while the original straps are used with the basic chronometer watch in a more stained state to the lining of the strap as it's the owner's favourite. A quick polish & the cases will be refreshed to as new again upon request for additional cost.

The chronograph bears the ref.L.2.615.4 (41x45mm) while the chronometer bears L.2.613.4 (38.5x47mm) & the Worldtime is L.2.614.4 (38.5x45mm). All have glass back to display the finely finished movements from ETA 2824+2892A2 & all are decorated except the chronograph which uses a base 7750.

The Worldtime has a fixed city names ring with London @ 12 while an inner ring of 24hrs will rotate in corresponding time, showing the cities in it's time zone while to set it to your city, one would pull the via the crown out to first position and quick-set hour hand.

1832 is the founding year of Longines by Auguste Agaassiz in St Imier, Switzerland while 1867 is the year they made their first movement which won an award in the important 1867 Paris Universal exhibition.

On the rim of the steel back cover has several engravings and among them is = 130 years 165 "1867 - 1997.1832 - 1997"

If you are to break the prices down, the chronograph is S$2500, worldtime is S$1800 & chronometer is just S$1500, very reasonable prices & they're a family of just 1000pcs each ever made.
