A neo-classic by now, this is one of the prettiest grand complications by Corum and only 100 numbered pieces were produced with serial numbers hand-engraved onto the case band (This is a B series). The solid 18ct gold case in 40mm offers a very pleasing weight on hand and finely finished with a glass back. It is fitted with an automatic movement from the venerable ETA 2892-2A with an integrated module that offers you a perpetual calendar, moonphase and chronograph. The dial in gloss ivory is finished with guilloché texture and YG batons while a lapis blue forms the night sky for the golden full moon.

Watch has been lightly polished and presents in near mint condition. A very rare watch, highly functional and very pretty features. The original yellow gold buckle has a red enamelled key logo of Corum.

This is a collector's item and priced very low for a grand complications which offers you great value for the money. All functions work with no service history. It has appeared in the 1996 Wristwatches annual & 1999 Ambunduhren/Wristwatches by Könemann. This model would be one of the most complex watch of it's time, coming just under the minute repeater that they produced with Christopher Claret.

Retailed for US$35,000 in 1996 when the dollar was more than twice SGD and such a watch would retail in access of S$100,000 today.
