Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes, manual & dated paper. One owner's watch in virtually mint condition. It has never been polished and presents in a fantastic, original condition. The owner is a very careful person when it comes to his watches as we have sold some of his collection, all of them were in mint condition, saw little wrist time & virtually scratch-free. You would be forgiven to think that this is a new watch upon inspection with some handling wear the most and being a consignment item, we do not cover the warranty due to the small margin that we make but watch has been checked and works in perfect order.

"The Grande Reverso 986 Duodate One of the great classic features of the Reverso line is that the case is reversible. This gives way to the possibility of providing two displays of time on front and back. In the Reverso Grande Duodate 986 the silvered front dial shows the time in the reference time zone, completed with the small seconds display at 6 o’clock a subtle rounded date display arching across the top of the minute-track rectangle with its ‘stretched’ Clous de Paris hobnail pattern standing out against the surrounding vertical guilloché area. Swivelling the watch reveals a dual time-zone display against a smooth black velvet-finish background, complete with the ever-useful day/night indicator. This second time zone can be set directly on the crown so as not to interfere with the minute or date setting. With its inspiration in the Art Deco style of the 1930s (when Reverso was first launched) this second face plays on the “circles in a circle” concept to truly stunning effect. All these useful functions on the twin dials are driven by a single proprietary mechanical manually-wound movement, Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 986."
