The watch is fitted with a Milanese style chained bracelet which hints at the Italian influence of this model. There's only some light surface hairlines to the polished surfaces & nothing major so we left it as it is. It is very well made with many impressive fine details while the over-sized counter on the dial represents the 2nd time zone which is a very practical feature & unusually seen in Chronographs. It comes complete with it's accessories which is nice to own & made by a Geneva based company.

Tomasso Portinari is an Italian Banker in the 15th century from the prominent Medici family and managed the Medici bank in Bruges, Belgium.

The brand was founded in 1890 in Bruges, the Flanders region of Belgium which explains the name of this watch model. In 1990, the company opened it's first boutique in Geneva which is followed by 2 more in Moscow & St Petersburg. Today, the brand is represented in more than two dozen cities across the world which is quite respectable for a family firm.
