This gents Rolex Day-Date President in full 18KYG is a long-time owner's watch with a newer and popular dial fitted. The watch presents very well and shows some patina on the gold as it was not worn much. It is sold with a one year warranty by us and given a free full service within 12 months of purchase. Most of these are available without the original certificate but our watch here has it and will no doubt add much credibility and value to the watch.

The Ref.18038 is the first Rolex to be fitted with the sapphire glass being the flagship model of the company when others were fitted with acrylic crystal well into late 1980s. It was also the first to feature a single quick-set date function with the then new movement Cal.3055 which was much improved over the Cal.1570, offering extra jewels, higher VPH from 21600 to 28800 (4Hz) and also a free-sprung balance.

This Rolex is a good buy as a present day President Day-Date 36mm with similar specs will easily set you back almost S$40,000 after discount.
