Vintage. Comes with a new old stock vintage long Rolex box but no papers. This is a very rare & authentic 1940s Rolex Chronograph & is one of the earliest Chronograph made by the firm. Case is in splendid condition with the bezel & back cover snapping tightly and it has no dents or major scratches throughout. The dial has been expertly refinished by a reputable German firm many years ago & is in perfect condition till date. The blued steel hands are in perfect order & free from rust with little marks naked to the eyes. This is a highly collectible Rolex vintage chronograph and very reasonably priced looking for a nice home.

The Ref.3484 was produced from 1939 to 1949 in steel & gold. They usually only appear in major auctions & the nearest example we found was one sold by Antiquorum, Milan in Mar 1996 bearing serial nos 047727 and that watch is only 2 watches older than this!

Some vintage sports models are priced well beyond this which is many times rarer than them. This is the first time we have acquired this model in almost 20yrs of business and unlikely to find another again anytime soon.
