This is an original Beach Yellow Daytona and probably the only one on sale in the world now with an option of two looks for the price of one and priced well below market. A full boxed set Beach yellow is being sold for above S$100K to S$140K now.

This Daytona has just undergone a complete works by the Rolex service centre with a receipt for S$2250 so it is under the 2-years international Rolex warranty till Oct 2023.

Upon special request, a racy "Paul Newman" Panda style dial was ordered and fitted to the watch while the original Gold Pearl dial was retained. This is an unprecendented opportunity where you have the chance to own two completely different looks on an 18ct White Gold Daytona for the price of one. The new owner can simply approach Rolex service center or any qualified workshop for the dials to be exchanged in future, and for a small sum for the correct non-lume hands to be replaced (RSC only) to match the Beach yellow dial although this hands with lume serves a better purpose. With different straps, you can have a totally different look in a short time. The yellow lizard presented here is a brand new pair in medium size for gents while the black croco is a small size and used. You may custom a variety of straps to fit your style in similar fashion with Panerai watches.

In year 2000, for the new millennium, Rolex launched a set of four Daytonas in Pink, yellow, blue and green colour. They were initially offered as a set and sold for over S$100K from the dealers. The launch price then was S$29216 each and increased to S$31000 by 2003 then discontinued and disappeared from catalogues by 2004. This was a ground-breaking attempt by Rolex to offer their most sought after model for the ladies' sector. They were the most colourful collection till date and was well received but not exactly a success back then. After the initial euphoria, dealers struggled to offload the sets and the four watches were sold separately. The most popular colour was pink followed by yellow, blue and lastly green. Male buyers would exchange the colourful straps in favour of dark colours to make them more masculine which was what happened to our watch here but today, men are quite ready to wear them in their original combinations.

Ever since the Phillips auction of a set in recent years, this four-colour Daytona set has received renewed interest and value continue to rise ever since as collectors search for rarities. Our watch here is a great pedigree and not only is it guaranteed by Rolex, you have the bonus of having two watches for the price of one.

The fitted dial here is by no means one of the most coveted design in reference to the holy grail Paul Newman Daytona of the 1960s model which sold for a staggering US$17.75million in Oct 2017.
