About This Watch

Unused watch. Sold with original large box set, manual, pictogram card, LE cert & dated paper in pouch.

This is a one of the kind Omega Speedmaster with a special dial made of sterling silver that has never been used on any other model. Watch was never used and occasionally wound up to ensure that the movement works. The black faux leather material on the box has deteriorated over time but otherwise it comes complete with all the accessories.

Launched in 2014, this particular Speedmaster was made to commemorate the 40th anniversary (1971 to 2011) of the Apollo 17 space flight and only 1972 numbered pieces were produced which is a very low number coming from Omega.

Movement Mech. manual winding movt. Cal.1861, 18jewels, 21600vph & 48hrs. Rhodium plated with Côtes de Genève. Signed & numbered

Case Polished steel case with brushed case band & inner lugs. Fixed steel bezel with a black insert bearing silver tachymetre scale. Signed crown with pump pushers. Screw-lock back cover with a relief of the Lunar rover. Engraved & black enamelled with serial numbers
Dial 925 Silver embossed with Apollo XVII patch. 3 registers and min/sec ring on perimeter
Straps Fitted with orig. steel bracelet with signed deployant buckle & quick release buttons. Full links
