This watch is a modern replica of the original "Museum" watch prototype designed by American Nathan George Howitt in 1947. Once in a long while, we'll come across a special watch that has a place in the history of watchmaking & this is one. Although it has no technical feats or association with space programs, the Museum watch is an iconic timepiece of Zen philosophy. This watch is fitted with a sapphire glass & an automatic movement making it a good choice as a daily watch that'll keep its value for decades to come.

The Movado Museum watch is the first watch to be included in the New York's Musuem of Modern Art as a permanent display in 1960. The bold dot @ 12 is to symbolise the Sun @ high noon & was conceptualised in 1947. It shows that good design transcents through time. A new series of Musuem watch has been launched featuring tourbillons etc on the back of the watch.

Watch is in very good condition & case is free from dents or any major scratches while the gold plated case is fresh as new. The owner must've been very careful with it over the years!
