Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes, manual & dated paper. This is a one owner's watch is pristine, original & unpolished condition. There's no dents & virtually perfect polished steel case. The strap is fresh & clean without any presence of sweat stains which shows that this watch is probably only worn a few times, carefully. This is a collector's item & a great timepiece for those who aspire to own a true wristwatch repeater as a pedigree brand will easily set you back 6 figures & above. This is a rare watch in the pre-owned market & Kelek has ceased production.

To activate this quarter repeater, push the slide @ 9 O'clock upwards & it will chime the hours follow by the nearest quarter. Eg.the watch in the pictures shows 8.18, upon activating the slide, you will hear eight chimes for 8 O'clock, followed by a quick double chime once to show that the time is a quarter pass eight. If it's 8.55 or anytime after 8.45, it will chime eight times followed by three times of the double chime to indicate 3 quarters pass eight. Each double-chime represents a quarter or 15minutes.

It is a lovely watch to have and the chime is a joy to hear.

When available, this watch was sold for well above S$10,000 here from authorised dealers. There was the far cheaper Five-minutes repeater but the pusher was located @ 6 O'clock, between the lugs & it has a very thick case which is quite unsightly. This quarter repeater is a very well proportioned watch with beautiful lines that reminiscences the mega dollar compatriots.

Kelek was established in 1896 in Switzerland and was one of the largest mechanical chronograph maker @ one time. In recent years, it was purchased by Breitling and merged into Breitling Chronométrie.
