About This Watch

Pre-owned. Comes with boxes (poor condition as usual), test pump, manual, spare velcro strap & undated authorised paper. One owner's watch in mint condition & other than a very faint bright mark on the bracelet about 15mm away from 12 o'clock, the watch is good as new. No dents or any other visible scratches, not even on the buckle which is a pleasant surprise which shows that this watch has seen some very careful usage only.

The IWC GST Deep One was a ground breaking watch launched more than a decade ago. It is equipped with a built-in mechanical Depth gauge with display up to 45m (humans usually scuba dive for up to 30m). It is water-resistant to 100m. The crown @ 2 is for adjusting the inetrnal immersion scaled ring while the centre is for setting time & date & the bottom crown for the "bathometer". A Flyback hand shows the maxumum dive depth.

We understand that only 500 units of the "Deep One" were produced but a far smaller numbers were completed due to the high complexity of producing this watch back then which makes it a very rare & collectible watch today.

We've sold several of these many years ago & have not seen one for quite a while so we're very delighted to offer this to you now.

Dial Matt Black dial with applied luminous batons & White markings. Date @ 3 O'clock. Subsidiary seconds dial.
Straps Fitted with orig. Titanium bracelet + deployant buckle with push-button release safety clasp.
Hands Steel & filled with luminous. White sweep centre seconds hand. Flyback hand.
Functions Automatic, time, date & built-in depth guage.
