About This Watch

Pre-owned. No box/paper. First owner paid a lot of money for this collector's watch. This is one of the higher specified model among Ikepod collection, it features a Girard-Perregaux sourced movementi with alarm & worldtime features which is reknown for it's superb functions & quality. Watch is lightly polished & overall condition is excellent with no major wear throughout. Other watches with this movement will sell for a lot more now.
Ikepod filed for bankruptcy protection under Swiss laws in late 2003 & was bought by a Swiss, Perficio Group investment company. A new director has been appointed & new directions for the company is underway. Ikepod was designed by the famous Australian designer Marc Newson who did everything from furniture to concept cars & interiors.

Movement Mech. auto-winding movt, 27jewels, 28800vph. Decorated with Cotes de Geneva. Signed.

Case Brushed steel in three parts. Bi-direction rotating bezel with names of cities. 3 signed crowns for setting time, alarm & 24hrs internal ring. Anti-glare coated sapphire crystal. Screw-lock glass back.
Dial Black with Silver signature, markings & minute divisions. Day & date apertures with 24hrs rotating ring.
Straps Fitted with orig. signed steel bracelet with a signed depoyant buckle & safety clasp. Fits a 16cm wrist.
Hands Matt silver & filled with luminous.
