About This Watch

Pre-owned. Comes with orig. box but missing paper. The dial & hands are new replacement by factory recently. Watch is in very good condition & case is free from major scratches except a tiny dent on the lug @ 11. Otherwise watch is relatively well taken care by the owner & we can polish this to look new again for extra charges. This watch was created in the late 1990s & the 3 windows acted as a daily count down to the Millennium. With each passing of the day, a number decreased. Year 2000 was a big event back then as we were to celebrate a new century, a new beginning while some said the world was to end. Well, it's 2007 now :-). The three windows can be set to 999 to countdown to whatever events you fancy eg. your anniversary, birthday etc. Consignment item. Selling "As Is" without our warranty & watch is working well. Very well priced for an 18KWG Gerald Genta.

Movement Movt : Mech. auto winding movt. Ca.GA3(ETA 2892), 27 jewels, 40hrs reserve. Signed & decorated with Cotes de Geneva.

Glass Sapphire crystal.
Case Round polished 18KWG case with fluted case band & pushers. Back secured with 6 Screws. Orig. crown with "pearl tips".
Dial Beige with Black signature & markings. Applied white gold Arabic quarters & batons. Luminous dots. Dial centre with relief of "2000" & 3 apertures with nos. Date with magnifying glass @ 6.
Straps Fitted with orig. black croco L/strap (used) & a signed 18KWG buckle.
Hands Blued steel & filled with luminous with a sweep centre seconds.
