About This Watch

Pre-owned & mint! Comes with orig. boxes, manual & dated authorised paper! One owner's watch in pristine condition as it's only 2 months old! The Cartier Santos 100 was launched on the 100th anniversary in 2004 to much applause. This watch was acquired new from Cortina Singapore & watch is good as new. If you like big watches, good design, reasonable price & good re-sale value, you won't go wrong with this.

Louis Cartier designed the original Santos watch for his friend: Alberto S. Dumont in 1904 & it has been in production since then. Alberto Santos-Dumont was a pioneer Brazilian aviator who lived in Paris & made several flying achievements with airships & planes. He was a close  friend of Louis Cartier (Founder of Cartier) who made the Santos watch for him & it was the first commercially available wristwatch. By stroke of luck, one of the descendents of Santos Dumont was our client here in Singapore!

This watch is under factory warranty till March 2014.

Glass Sapphire crystal.
Case Brushed Steel, rectangular & curved case in three parts. Polished steel bezel with brushed steel back secured by 8 screws. Cabouchon crown.
Dial Silvered with Black siganture, Roman numerals, min divisions & markings.
Straps Fitted with an orig. brown Croco L/strap (lightly worn) & a signed halfgold twin deployant buckle.
Hands Black, skeletonised & filled with luminous with a sweep centre seconds hand.
