Fresh out of a full service, this is a Perpetual Calendar with Moonphases by Gérald Genta from the 1990s. The solid yellow gold case has a Jaeger LeCoultre automatic movement and has a faceted sapphire glass which was a hallmark of his creations.

Watch is in original unpolished condition & overall condition=99% Like New with the original strap and solid gold buckle. The owner purchased this watch new from the agent and kept it in his collection for the past 20 plus years but never worn it.

The unique "Facet cut" sapphire crystalⁱ radiates like a glittering a diamond on your wrist under lighting which is quite a treat. The moonphase is shown on a pot-hole out of a Lapis lazuli insert on the dial which is an absolutely captivating feature. This is a true Perpetualⁱ Calendar showing the moon phases & leap year, the movement was completely overhauled and regulated by a Swiss trained watchmaker costing S$2000 which is an added value so it'll offer many years of faithful service to come.
