This is quite a spectacular watch with hand finished case and bracelet that must be seen and felt to be appreciated. Founded in 1943, at some time, this Swiss Montre Royale de Geneve was owned by British watch designer and jeweller, Roy King and an article on his life is available here.

This watch has London hallmarks for the gold case and dating it to 1972/3 manufacture with the typical hand made granular finish that was attributed to King. The fire Opal stone dial has a most captivating lustre and changes colours vigorously as if coming to life of it's own. This is probably a piece unique and unlikely to find another.

Watch is in mint condition and kept in our vault since 2007 and forgotten. The movement which surprisingly was adjusted to 5 positions has been serviced and keeps time. This is not a water resistant watch and was designed without gasket so please avoid moisture.
