This is the 2nd Gen Overseas Chronograph and comes in all steel or this rarer, steel & titanium version which was a big departure for the oldest watchmaker by using exotic materials for the case & rubber strap as an option. It was an immediate hit and so popular that they were sold out with the retailers when launched. Today, this Overseas collection remains very sought after by collectors as they represent tremendous value from a pedigree watch maker.

The solid steel back cover has a relief of a traditional tall ship with full sails up. It has a screw-lock crown & pushers so it is rated for 150m water resistance and offers anti-magnetic capability while the dial and hands have luminous glow for dark conditions. The big-date function remains one of the most practical feature for the wearer.

Watch has never been polished and shows regular surface wear but nothing too nasty so we left it as it is and merely washed it. The glass is perfect while the original strap was replaced last year and is in splendid condition now. As always, our specimen here is priced well below market as most dealers are selling this for above S$20K.
