This is the 55th anniversary model Grand Seiko featuring the Calibre 9S, cased in a large 42mm steel case with their zaratsu finished lugs & of course the in-house movement. This model is fitted with an intricately decorated blue lacquered dial and made in limited edition of just 500pcs. One owner's watch purchased new from the Seiko boutique in Singapore. Watch is unpolished and shows very light wear with little abuse so we left it alone and a thorough wash to remove any dirt.

More information available here from factory. This watch was purchased for S$6221.60 after a 5% discount with the Seiko boutique and yes, you don't get much discount for GS watches as this is the most revered Japanese brand that's well appreciated by enthusiasts.

This model has appreciated in value. A quick check shows that some dealers are asking as high as over S$9K for this same model and being just 500 made, this is a rare watch in the global market.
