The Rolex Oysterdate Precision is the quintessential Rolex Oyster for the man in the street and a workhorse that spanned over 3 decades. It started with Ref.6094 in a two-piece Oyster case, then 6294, 6494 and finally 6694. Each constantly upgraded over the years with the final one bowing out in the late 80s with free-spring balance, high-beat movement & thick Oyster bracelet. This is the late model and one of the best condition we've owned with by far. The entire watch is in mint condition and lugs are thick with little signs of usage for the past 40 years and this watch has been kept in our vault for 13yrs

When you buy this, you're procuring the heritage and history that comes along which is very desirable for any discerning collector.

This watch was sold new by Lee Chay (relative to the owner of THG) in Singapore with undated paper and the green plastic tag has a period price of S$942 for it. The original blue dial which is very sought after now is showing some light patina aka tropicalisation in the area surrounding the tritium dots which is how they age due to chemical reaction. The bracelet is tight as new with full links, takes 14 winds to full and time very well.
