This watch has just been polished and movement overhauled so it is ready to go.

It is very difficult to find vintage Rolexes with it's period correct bracelet and especially riveted ones like this here. Many of them were replaced with non-original parts over the years as they deteriorate but our example here is completely original bearing all the numbered parts except for the buckle which has been replaced by a newer version due to age which is what Rolex offered up to the 1990s.

The Ref.1500 is one of the modern workhorse Rolex Oyster watch introduced in the early 1970s & equipped with a chronometer certified movement Ca.1570 that is found in all the sports model including the President collection. It was upgraded in the 1980s by Ref.15000 with a quick-set date function movement Ca.3035 then changed to Ref.15200 with the sapphire crystal in the 1990s. Today, it continues to be in the main collection under the Ref.115200. Little has changed over the last three decades. It is an everlasting classic.
