This Rolex Oyster Speedking dates to 1945 and was made just a few months after the devastating great WW2. The 2pc steel Oyster case has been lightly polished with a new plastic crystal replaced so it looks very fresh. It is fitted with a precious period crown from the 1940s that's often replaced by modern versions, making this a very desirable watch for it's authenticity and overall great condition.

The 17 rubies movement found in this specimen is in tip top condition and adjusted to 2 positions which was very high grade quality of it's time but this is a 75yrs old watch so please do not expect accuracy. Do bear in mind that these vintages are not water resistant nor shock-proof but use it with care and it can still be a daily watch.

This particular example has a very desirable dial with the scallop style Rolex crown, military style radium nos & blued steel pencil hands. The movement shines and keeps time. A beautiful example not to be missed.
