Vintage. No box/paper. This classic Rolex Oysterdate Precision has received a facelift for use in modern day. A non-Rolex sapphire crystal has been fitted which means you have little to worry about scratches & annoying replacements now. The dial has been refurbished & given a modern treatment where Roman numerals are added including luminous dots that glows in darkness while a set of new hands are fitted as well. The Oyster bracelet is also given a desirable two-tone finish where the centre is now polished instead of brushed, this is a very difficult process due to the old brushed finish and was inspired by the Daytona.

However, please bear in mind that these upgrades are deem as alteration by Rolex & it will not be accepted by the service centre unless it is subjected to a restoration back to the original specs. That's of little concern as many qualified mechanics can easily maintain this watch for you worldwide & should you like, original parts are readily available for a small cost to restore this watch to it's original specifications. This example is a perfect specimen of a modernised Rolex that costed several hundred dollars to upgrade and it'll serve you faithfully for many years to come. It doesn't cost you a huge fortune either and in fact, some low-end Swiss brands will cost more than this and never retain their value as well as this watch.
