Vintage. No box or papers. This collectible Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Chronometer is a one long-time owner's watch who has just sold it to us. The watch has just been completely refurbished by our watchmaker. The case is disassembled, cleaned & polished to Rolex specs while the movement is stripped, overhauled & timed. It works in perfect order now & will serve you well for many years to come except that it's not very water-resistant so please refrain from letting it exposed to water/rain and def.

This Ref.1505 derives from the 1500 series & is a size below the gents 36mm Datejust. Our watch here has a solid 14 carat gold bezel with an engine turned fluted pattern. It would've been fitted with a halfgold Oyster or Jubilee style bracelet & leather strap was an option as well. Since we only received the watch head from the owner so a new leather strap is fitted to it now which offers a more inviting casual good looks.

These Rolex Oysters were built to last more than a lifetime as long as you take care of them and we would expect it to pass through your family as well. It has an acrylic crystal that can be polished when light scratches find their way or replaced for cheap vs a sapphire crystal. There is no quick-set date so you'd need to adjust the time over 24hrs to change the date and although they were built to 100m water resistance we wouldn't advise it anymore than washing of hands as the watch is over 30yrs old now. The case is in splendid condition as seen in our pictures here and has a wonderful in-house manufacture movement that shines.
