A very rare and attractive chronograph with it's oversized facade and the Roger Dubuis trademark "Sympathie" case which has been discontinued.

The huge 46mm solid gold case has downturned lugs that wrap around small wrists without looking too bulky. This is an early production model where the rear pot-hole glass is engraved with the company's initials on the underside and this engraved glass is not to be found on later watches ever since, making this quite a collector's item.

The watch is fitted with a celebrated movement supplied by Lemania which is the same ebauche for similar period Patek Philippe chronographs and this is finished to the prestigious Geneva Seal standard. In fact, during those years, Roger Dubuis was the only company to have all their movements earning this seal of excellence, something which even Patek Philippe could not obtain as they made quartz watches.

This watch is in original, unpolished condition & is sold with existing light wear that shows minor scratches around the bezel that can of course be easily polished to factory condition upon request. The original black alligator strap is in good condition & all functions well.

The retail price of this watch is not available as it is a discontinued model but the owner paid over S$40K from the retailer. If you are looking for a high quality chronograph in solid 18K pink gold then don't miss this chance as there aren't many out there from this league for this price. Only 28pcs were made in black dial on pink gold.
