Pre-owned. Comes with orig. wooden box (no outer box), manual & dated paper. 

This IWC Pilot Doppelchronograph was purchased new from a Taiwan retailer. The Ref.3713 has become a rare & collector's item now as it has been discontinued for several years & this bracelet version is a desirable combination to have while u can always fit a strap to it. It was the flagship of the Pilot collection & due to it's complexity, the retail was double from that of the popular Flieger-Chrono Ref.3706.

Watch is in excellent condition throughout with tiny little dings on the edge of the bezel rim that can be polished away but otherwise not much issue. Glass is perfect & lugs are thick which means there were no dents or heavy use.

It is very desirable to find this watch being sold together with it's original massive wooden box (the white PVC has started to peel) that has a metal plaque & comes with the user manual + warranty card while the watch received a full serviced by the agent less than 5yrs ago. The luminous on the hour & minute hands glow as they should.

A full overhaul for this watch will cost from S$500 & above by a competent 3rd party watchmaker. The day changes at 2pm at the moment, a mis-alignment that can only be rectified by a watch maker but not a big issue here.

The split-seconds Chronograph or commonly known as Rattrapante is a very complicated stopwatch that can time multiple subjects on one watch with the addition of an extra pusher using another sweep centre seconds hand. It is especially useful for timing motorsports & sports events where you need to time multiple entries. Very few manufacturers could produce this highly complex movement & they so expensive that it usually costs double the price of a basic chronograph.
