Pre-owned classic. No papers or boxes but a travelling pouch will be given to you. This gorgeous solid gold Piaget gent's dress watch belongs to our VIP client who's a Head of State. We assisted in extending extra sections on the bracelet to fit his large wrist but this watch has never been worn due to his massive collection of watches. 

We have been appointed to sell this watch now with the remaining proceeds going to charity.

The watch is in splendid condition and ready to wear once it's sized to suit your wrist. There's no dents or any scratches to fault except micro hairlines to the polished edges of the back cover but please bear in mind that this is a used watch that's not worn for over ten years. It probably dates to 1980s & 90s. The bracelet is original with intricate cross-herringbone style basket-weave which is an artwork on itself. The inner side of the buckle is stamped with 750 (18K) & Piaget, hallmarks of a factory product. The bezel has hand engraved texture to match the bracelet and everything is original to the best of our knowledge.

These watches were made in small numbers as they were largely hand crafted in those years & look at the dial! Black onyx stone measuring a mere 3mm wide is laid as a frame to the white pearl centre which has a beautiful 3D appearance that changes like a hologram as you move it under light. A stunning combination & testament to the quality of Piaget's craftsmen. We found a tiny chip off from the hairline joints @ 10 o'clock of the black Onyx section but this is not obvious.

The automatic movement is an in-house manufacture in an an ultra-slim platform featuring a solid 24K gold micro-rotor for efficiency.

These Piaget gents watches in solid gold with an automatic movement plus exotic dials were very expensive items costing in excess of S$20K after discount in the 1990s which is a lot of money in those days. This would've easily fetch over USD$10K today with other dealers but because the owner has lost interest with it and donating the proceeds so it is priced to sell at a very attractive price now.
