Pre-owned. Comes with orig. wooden box+outer box, spare fibre/rubber diving strap, screw driver, manual, dated paper + COSC cert & sticker in docket. 

This is a rare Pam 0023 Luminor GMT from the late 1990s and only produced for two years between 1998 and 1999 under A & B series which is our watch here. Only 500 were made which is a small numbers vs the unlimited Special editions that are offered these days. Those were the years when Panerai has less than a dozen choices of models and this GMT is one of the three automatic Ocean Chronometer series, the other two being the Submersible Pam0024 & Power Reserve Pam0090 while the rest are the base manual winding watches.

This was the infancy of the Richemont owned Officine Panerai & the dual-time design cue was probably inspired by the Rolex Explorer Two for having identical bezel & functions. There is no small seconds, the dial is simpler & uncluttered but a 44mm watch was huge at that time but considered norm today.

Our watch here is a one owner's watch & was polished to factory specs so overall condition=99% like new. The brushed bezel is perfect with perfect graphics on the 24hr markings (many suffered wear) & a flawless glass. It has been kept away in our vault together with some early Panerais and for sale now. The spare strap is a rare Submersible version's Caoutchouc diver's strap that has never been used while the fitted calf leather strap is used and we'll be offering you for free, one of our company's strap (13 types) that comes with a pre-V style steel buckle. Watch is sold with all complete accessories (There was no rubber cap at that time) which is very desirable.

This watch was purchased new from Sincere Watch Ltd, the only dealer for Panerai in Singapore at that time. It has full documented service history with Panerai in 2001 & 2005. A true collector's timepiece that will stand out among your office of Panerai bearers.
