About This Watch

Vintage. No box/papers. This is a one owner's watch that was sold to us by the son who inherited it and we are passing it on to a collector who will appreciate this valuable piece. It was a gift from the Dutch Shell petroleum company to it's employee in Singapore.

This solid 14K gold Seamaster was given to Mr. Chua Keng Hoe for his 32 yrs Long Service Award in 1961 (since 1929!) His name, along with the Shell logo & 1929-1961 is engraved on the back cover.

Watch is in very nice original condition & it retains the original crown & even the Omega hallmarked acrylic crystal. The dial is in superb original condition with little signs of ageing which shows that this watch was pampered throughout it's life since 1961..... very reasonably priced as dealers are wholesaleing gold pieces for over S$2000 these days.
