About This Watch

Vintage. No boxes or papers. This is a beautiful classic Seamaster from Omega with a professional restored dial. It has an early "bumper rotor" auto winding movement fitted & dates back to 1953. The rotor oscillates with a centre axle within an arc like a hammer & has two springs acting as shock absorbers to bounce it back & forth so it does not rotate a full 360 degrees. It winds the mainspring in a single direction.

The original crown fitted here is a polygonal version.

Movement Mech. auto winding movt with bumper rotor. Ca.354 with 17jewels. Signed & numbered.

Case Polished round steel case in three parts with snap-on bezel & back. Signed crown.
Dial Restored. Matt ivory with guilloché Clous de Paris texture. Applied faceted steel hour batons & logo. Signed in black with minutes on inner ring.
Straps Fitted with a new but non-Omega L/strap & unsigned steel buckle.
Hands Steel dauphine style with a black sweep centre seconds
