About This Watch

Vintage. No box/papers. This is a fabulous looking Omega Chronometer from mid 1940s & the production nos dates it between 1945 & 46 which is @ the end of world war II. It is fitted with an early automatic winding movement using the bumper system which has two springs that bounces the rotor back & forth. The dial is a very typical & desirable layout with an "Art Deco" styled gold reflective Arabic no.12 while the fine minute ring is printed in the centre.

The case has very little wear which is rare for such an old watch but the copper plating on the movement is worn off. Dial & hands are original & nicely aged.
