About This Watch

Vintage. No box/papers. This is a beautiful vintage Omega & it has been in our collection for over ten years now. The 14K gold filled case is known to be made for the American market but this watch has an unusual case back with a round gold filled cover that's locked into place by a steel ring which screws & sandwiches the back cover against the body to have water & dust resistance.

This watch is in superb condition for it's age & there are no corrosion marks on the case with just the usual surface marks on the case but nothing major. The early "bumper" automatic movement is in mint condition & as if it was just assembled yesterday but it dates back to 1951 according to the serial nos so we have a 60yrs old watch here! Looking at the pictures and you'll find that the copper gilt of the movement is shining with no signs of wear or repair marks which is a rare find today as most of these are very worn out now. The dial also has some very unusual indexes as well making it a very attractive watch.

This is a highly collectible timepiece for it's design & superb original condition which is a very rare find now.
