About This Watch

Vintage. No box/papers. This is a very beautiful Omega Seamaster 30 dating back to 1962 & 50years of age has shown little wear to it. The 30 signifies the 30mm size of the movement which is a rather large calibre even in present days for a time-only manual wound calibre. The Seamaster was created in 1948 and this model was introduced in 1962 and the hippocampus logo is engraved onto the back cover.

The original dial has little ageing to the edges and overall some spotting which adds to the authenticity and presents very well. The case is free from any signs of corrosion and upon opening there is virtually no rust found among the threading while the original aged gasket can be seen, a testament of very careful or little use over the decades. The pink gold gilt movement is an in-house manufacture calibre 286 sporting 17jewels, shock resistant protection with an in-direct center seconds bridge and is fresh as new, another positive sign that this watch was only in good hands and never abused. Only complain would be the scratch marks on the notches of the back cover due to slips by the tool while opening and closing over decades but they are superficial and not an eyesore.

The plastic crystal is an original Omega with the horse-shoe logo stamped on the underside of the crystal in the middle.

She's looking for a new owner who'll continue to pamper her. Winds on the button with just 20+ rounds and lasts over 40hours. She is sold with our in-house 6 months warranty.

This watch was carefully hand picked from a small collection of vintage Omegas & only the best pieces were selected so have a look @ the pictures & you'll be convinced with the quality of our watches.
