The exclusive Cerachrom bezel is a ceramic developed by Rolex and introduced in 2005. It has excellent anti-corrosion properties and keep their vibrant colours over time. They are virtually scratchproof, and are unaffected by exposure to sunlight (Harmful Ultra Violet rays) as well as to chlorinated or sea water. A thin layer of gold is applied onto the engraved numbers on the ceramic surface which takes 40 hours just to produce each Cerachrom bezel.

Also in 2005, Rolex re-introduced an exclusive patented 18 ct pink gold alloy cast in their own foundry known as Everose which is the main component of this watch including it's deployant buckle. This model with the leather strap has just been discontinued in late March and replaced by the rubber strap version in the Baselworld 2017. We are able to secure some of the last few pieces available before they are sold out.
