About This Watch

Pre-owned but never worn. No Box/papers Watch is still in original factory seal. This is a most unusual wristwatch that is fitted with a vintage pocket watch movement. Minerva was founded in 1858 and managed by the Frey family. It was the official timepkeeper in the 1936 winter Olympics. The company was recently acquired by an Italian group in late 2000. We emphatize with the original owner who paid S$42400 for this watch with receipt!

Case Massive 18K White Gold round case in 3parts. Back secured by 4 screws with a see-thru glass. Signed crown. Front & back Sapphire crystal.
Dial Copper coloured with Black hour chapter & pink gold Arabic numerals & minute divisions. Subsidiary seconds with black divisions.
Straps Fitted with orig. Brown Croco L/strap & a signed+hallmarked 18KWG buckle.
Hands Blued steel hands with a subsidiary seconds hand.
