About This Watch

Vintage. No box/papers. The pink gold plated case has only light wear with surface fine hairlines but no dents or major scratches. Back steel cover has some minor marks only. Dial is original & very attractive with all the scales in different colours. It is gracefully aged but shows no unusual discoloration & all fine markings visible. Movement functions well & is good. This is a beautiful vintage chronograph from the early 1950s era with a desirable movement. Some modern day manufacturers used this movement in their watches & have them sold for thousands of dollars.
LePhare is an old Swiss brand that specialised in complications & they were well known for their chronographs & calendar watches.

Dial	Silvered & aged with embossed pink gold Arabic nos & tear-drop indexes. Black signature, markings & minute divisions. Tachymetre scale in blue. Red "20" divisions scale. Two registers.
Straps	Fitted with a normal black calf L/strap.
Hands	Pink gold gilt.
