Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes, manual & dated paper, under 2yrs internaiona warranty from date! Watch has just been polished & overall condition=99% like new! Very pristine condition, one owner's watch. This is the first pre-owned Jaquet Droz watch we have seen till date. It is retailed by the Hour Glass in SE Asia.
The Grande Seconde has a variety of dials & this is known as the "8", a symbol of luck in Chinese. It is a replica of one of the many pocket watches that Jaquet Droz made for China in the 18th century. This pays hommage to the 1784 collection. Hence, "Hommage Genève 1784". Pierre Jaquet Droz (1721-1790) was a watchmaker specialising in clocks, watches & automatons. This brand has been recently reveived and based in Bienne. It is now owned by the Swatch Group.

Movement Mech. auto-winding movt. Ca.2663.4, 30 jewels & adjusted to 5 positions. 72hrs reserve. Signed & numbered. Decorated 18KWG rotor.

Case Massive, polished 18K White Gold round styled case in three parts. Fixed bezel. Snap-on back with a see-thru glass. Sapphire crystal.
Dial Grey with Off-centre steel framed dial secured by blued steel screws. Matt white dial with Black signature, Roman numerals & Arabic seconds.
Straps Fitted with orig. Black croco L/strap with an original 18KWG signed & hallmarked ardillon buckle.
Hands Blued steel with a subsidiary seconds hand.
