Single owner's watch from new. It has never been polished and shows user marks on the surface of the case and buckle but nothing serious and a good polishing will restore the watch to as new condition. This watch is barely three years old and all functions work as they should.

The Duomètre Chronographe luxury watch, powered by the Dual-Wing system, lays bare the workings of its precision mechanism, to the great delight of the connoisseur. A worthy descendant of older Jaeger-LeCoultre models, it is a high-performing chronograph watch with a pink gold case that contains hidden wonders of aesthetic design and complexity.

As though to enable the onlooker to penetrate something of its mystery, the dial of this Duomètre Chronographe watch has been cut away at 5 o'clock and at 7 o'clock.  This allows a glimpse of a decorated watch movement of rare beauty in which the bridges and mainplate, crafted out of nickel silver, engage in an interplay of reflected light.

Offering the eye a lively and unremitting spectacle, the jumping seconds hand, located at 6 o'clock, completes a full revolution every second and indicates each 1/6th of a second.  

Like a bird controlling its flight through its wings, the Dual-Wing® concept of this Duomètre Chronographe watch is made up of two independent watch mechanisms. One transmits its force to the regulating organ while the other drives the individual functions of the chronograph.

This is a discontinued model replaced with essentially the same watch but open dial showing partial mechanism and there are no more platinum cases except for the Duomètre Sphérotourbillon platinum watch. A very heavy watch and rare watch in the pre-owned market.
