This is a one owner's watch from new and purchased from The Hour Glass in Singapore. Watch is left in original and unpolished condition so there are user marks but a professional polish can restore this easily. A rare timepiece where only 88 pieces were specially made and this is the only one with the power reserve indicator located on the rear over the movement plate.

To commemorate its 25th Anniversary celebration in 2004, The Hour Glass staged TEMPUS, a five-day watch exhibition cum conference from 25th to 29th August 2004. This event was modelled after the annual watch fairs held in Basel and Geneva of Switzerland so regional visitors could visit Singapore to have a taste of an international watch fair. A number of watch makers were approached to produce limited numbered watches for the company and this Master 8-Days was one of it. Only 88 were made and numbered on the dial, our watch here is no.002 which is a very rare specimen for the astute collector.

This is a gentleman’s timepiece with a functional, yet classical style, the Master Eight Days featured a conveniently long eight day power reserve, requiring winding only once a week. The dial includes an oversized date display, as well as a day and night indicator. While the ordinary versions of this watch had the power reserve display on the front, this edition has it on the back. Twenty-five were made in pink gold, and another 88 in stainless steel.
