Vintage. No box or paper.

A very attractive vintage by Jaeger LeCoultre from the 1940s. It has a chromed brass case in original condition which shows some wear on the edges throughout but presents very well and a steel back snaps on it. Watch is triple signed throughout on case, movement and dial. The movement shines like new and has a shock-resistant spring on the balance jewel. This same movement can be found in Vacheron Constantin watches of that era as JLC used to supply movements to other firms.

At 33mm this watch is not too small and the thin bezel ring and a simple dial makes it appears larger than it is. The essence of vintage watches is the dial. As collectors, we value it highly and this specimen has one of the best preserved dial which represents that turbulent and romantic era. A vintage not to be missed and a model with military good looks.

It takes about 23 winds on the crown to a full mainspring.
