About This Watch

Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes (peeling) & does not have paper. Watch has just been polished & is now in flawless condition. This is a discontinued Ingenieur Ref.3521 that was introduced in 1992 & discontinued in 1999. It is identical to the original "Jumbo" penned by Gerald Genta from 1976. The case has a soft iron core protecting it's movementi that is good for antimagnetic up to 80,000a/m & water resistant to 120m. It is supplied with a JLC movement & modified with a platinumi rotori then adjusted & finally tested to chronometer standard. This small sized version was not very popular in the 1990s & was quietly discontinued though some were still left unsold with retailers up to early 2000. A new large model was relaunched again in 2005 to much success with a collection of different models. IWC even tied up with AMG of Mercedes Benz to create some interesting models but none were chronometer certified. This is now a collector's item & very reasonably priced. It is a true modern classic.
