Pre-owned. Comes with orig old IWC box set in poor condition. Watch was serviced by agent & all gaskets, dial etc. have been replaced. The original replacement years slide is given in a sealed glass tube.

History: This is a very rare watch made in platinum to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the IWC Da Vinci and production began in 1995. A tenth hand was added to the original nine with just 500 examples produced and each individually numbered on the case back. The rattrapante or split-seconds module, accurate to 1/8th of a second was designed by Richard Habring while the case was designed by Hano Burtscher and inspired by Da Vinci’s circular sketches of the harbor fort in Piombino from 1499.

A product of Kurt Klaus's ingenuity, the IWC Da Vinci 3750 was introduced in the 1985 Basel Fair. The watch features an automatic chronograph with moonphase, perpetual calendar & a full year indicator that shows 500yrs ahead to the year 2499 and all functions available to a simple quick-set via the crown instead of multiple pushers from other watchmakers. In the year 2100, the watch should be returned to the factory where the year slide will be replaced to continue it's function.

Condition: Our watch here, the Ref.3751P received two complete services by IWC service center with invoices dated 22/8/06 costing S$1359 followed by another full service in 5 Jan 09 @ S$1460 with the dial changed from German to English calendar. Today, the watch works flawlessly and remains in near mint condition. The value of this watch is immediately felt the moment you hold it due to the weight from the thick platinum case.
