Pre-owned. Comes with orig. IWC boxes & undated paper (non period).

This is a very rare IWC watch made in the same case design of the 1985 Da Vinci grand complications. This model was first produced in 1988 to honor the 120th anniversary of IWC and last available in 1996. 

This solid gold watch with flexible lugs also received a "hunter" back cover that flips open to reveal an exhibition glass back that showcases the automatic movement. This movement is a vintage & very much coveted in-house manufacture movement Cal.8541B and the only one that's gilt in gold for only this model.

The last known retail price for this watch was Swiss Francs CHF16,150 (S$22,250) in 1996, a princely sum even in today's context.

The Ref.1850 is a very interesting watch for the collector & a definite must have piece for IWC fans so we've priced it very well for you on a solid gold watch.

Watch has just been polished to perfection and movement stripped for a complete overhaul. So it is well lubed and ready for a new home.
