Pre-owned. No box/paper. Watch is in original unpolished condition & is seldom worn. It has some very minor surface wear only, overall=98% excellent that can be polished to look new. This is an interesting chronographⁱ that could be a re-edition of the original 1960s model. Movementⁱ is surprisingly very well finished (similar to an IWC) in gold gilt & decorated with circular grain then signed on the rotorⁱ. Dial is very detailed while the case is quite a classic Daytona style. Great value for a heavy solid gold Swiss Chronograph & this is a limited edition!Gruen was a famous American watch manufacturer which dates back to 1876 & had a colourful history. It established a factory in Biel, Switzerland in 1903 and @ one point shared a plant with Rolex. It made some important watches and one particular model was a Doctor's watch which shared the same ebauche as the then Rolex's similar model. It is now based in Geneve, Switzerland. This watch would have costed more than S$10K to purchase when new. The brand is not represented in Singapore now.
