One owner's watch & purchased new from Zurich Timepieces in Malaysia. A rather rare watch in the pre-owned market.

This Chronoswiss Régulateur Automatique is one of the most important watch in the company's history and has remained in their collection ever since. It has the aura of an old European aristocrat look and true to it's appearance, the watch is actually inspired by 18-19th century Marine Chronometers with the regulator dial. Unlike a regular watch dial, the hour and minute hands are separated and will not eclipse the seconds hand, jeopardizing crucial time measuring events.

First launched in 1987 with a manual winding movement, the automatic version that you see here was introduced in 1990 and has been updated since.

This watch is sold with the original used strap+buckle while the fitted strap that you see here is from a well-respected strap maker.

This watch is in mint condition throughout except a tiny hairline scratch on the side of the brush finished lug @ 5 o'clock and some light marks on the polished bezel if you look hard but otherwise nothing else to fault. The original strap is in splendid condition and can serve you well as it is.

There are very few quarter repeaters in the watch market for a reasonable price and this piece works pretty well with a nice chime & a price that certainly won't break your bank account. Otherwise, a repeater from a serious brand will cost well in excess of hundreds of thousands today!
