This Tudor Tiger Prince-date Chronograph is a one owner's watch that's sold new by Tonneau NYC in USA and acquired by us over a decade ago. Watch is mint and unpolished. We'll let the pictures speak for itself. Glass is perfect, steel tachy bezel has just a few faint hairlines (that can be polished upon request), lugs thick, bracelet tight and overall, a very well preserved example that's easily passed as-new today.

 

Introduced in 1995, the Ref.79280 replaced the big-block with a slimmer case and introduction of sapphire glass. By late 1990s, the Oyster name was abandoned with bracelet & crown replaced with the Tudor shield logo while this desirable Oyster bracelet version was replaced by a 5-links design in the last series. This is an iconic Chronograph from Tudor that bears remarkable resemblance to the vintage Rolex Daytonas from 1970-80s. It is now a collector's item as it has been discontinued few years ago.

 

This example has the benefit of Tiger on the dial when famed golfer Tiger Woods was it's brand ambassador and it is even more special in the year of Tiger.
