This is a highly sought after collector's item. The original vintage Tudor "Snowflake Submariner" that was discontinued several decades ago, this beautiful example dates to the early 1980s & uses Rolex parts such as the crown & case. The back cover is engraved with "Original Case by Rolex Geneva" and features the Triplock Rolex crown. The bezel insert is the same aluminium with immersion scale and lume pearl insert similar to Rolex Submariner of the same era.

This watch is well used and the lugs retain their beveled edges. There are no serious dents nor deep scratches and generally in good condition throughout. Upon unlocking the back cover, it reveals a very good case and back showing little signs of corrosion which is a delight. The movement shines brightly as it should and powered by the ETA workhorse automatic movement. The lume dot aka pearl on the insert has it's cap sheared away but remains there. The tritium on the dial and hands are colour matching while the matt black dial presents very well with no sign of water ingress. The hands do have oxidisation as they should. The bezel insert has several marks due to usage and a sector between 45-55min in matt tone probably due to reaction with chemicals earlier but otherwise, an honest vintage watch in very good condition for it's age.

It is a great daily piece with vintage vibe and practical features. Today, the Snowflake has become the icon of Tudor and remains in production. Very reasonably priced for you.
