This automatic Enicar with Day & date is an unmolested example that's unpolished and came with the original crystal+crown. The watch was stripped and case washed. It has a waterproof style case in thick steel with matching screw-lock back that has a relief of a shark and thus the hefty weight. It does not have any immersion rating except water-resistant engraved on the back cover. The racing style dial is an original showing light patina with the decorative hour batons that reflects light. An orange sweep center seconds hand adds to that vibe. Overall a great looking vintage that can be matched with a variety of straps for your lifestyle.

History: Established in 1854. Enicar has a long history with a factory in Bienne, the same town where Rolex has a production plant as well. Their notable models from Enicar is the Sherpa collection and some have gained international fame from Himalayan expedition to deep dives and racing circuits. Today, the vintage models command respectable values among collectors and frequently featured in major auction houses.
